About StyleShuffler.com

The idea for StyleShuffler.com grew from a simple question - can the concept behind Pandora be applied to your style? Pandora’s music genome project uses multiple attributes to define songs and a complex mathematical algorithm to group them, in order to better recommend music to the listener. StyleShuffler.com uses a similar approach, but is aimed at the online shopper.

StyleShuffler launched in February during the Build Madison 24 hour create-a-thon. The application took the top two prizes at Build Madison and has gone through 2 subsequent revisions based on feedback from users and our own desire to take the site to the next level.

We have big plans for StyleShuffler and are always looking for feedback on the project. If you have any ideas for improvement or want to get in touch with us feel free to shoot us an email. Some of our future plans include:

  • Making StyleShuffler smarter...
so that you can find more things that you like
  • Making StyleShuffler more social...
so that you can browse with your friends
  • Making StyleShuffler bigger...
so that you have even more items to see

Our team is very friendly and we love to talk about style, online shopping, etsy! and opportunities for collaboration. If you're interested in chatting send us an email at admin@styleshuffler.com. We are nerdy and check our email often!

The Team

Aaron LarnerAaron Larner is a software developer and wanna-be designer with an unhealthy Nutella habit. He’s launched several businesses and is especially interested in user experience design and healthcare technology. When he's not working on some crazy idea you can find him on the ultimate frisbee field, running, or biking.

Pitt FaganPitt Fagan is a database administrator and part owner of EarthIT, a web application development company based in Madison, Wisconsin. He got involved with databases comparatively late, after spending four years studying geology in Texas and three years studying soil science and statistics in Wisconsin. His interests extraneous to StyleShuffler include traveling and the environment. A native of New Jersey, he is constantly battling misperceptions of the Garden State, and it's inhabitants, through his own gardening activities.
